St. Sylvester School Christmas

Christmas is by far one of the most exciting times at St. Sylvester School. Our halls are decked, our elves are busy, our sweaters are the ugliest, and our excitement is infectious. This year we conducted our annual ugly sweater contest via zoom. Coach K maintained his winner status and took the crown for the third straight year.  We hosted our first zoom Polar Express read-aloud students, parents, and teachers gathered around the computer screen and listened to Mrs. Wright read The Polar Express.

Thanksgiving

St. Sylvester School Thanksgiving

In November, St. Sylvester School transformed from a spooky candy-filled haunted house to a turkey-filled thanksgiving headquarters. Teachers and staff decorated the halls with festive decor and encouraged students to donate items to our annual food drive. Our students and families, both in-person and at home, donated items to our food drive which, benefited our parish food pantry.

Halloween Parade

St. Sylvester School Drive-By Halloween Costume Parade and Goody Bag Pick- Up

On Friday, October 30th, St. Sylvester School hosted a Drive-By Halloween Costume Parade for students and the community. St. Sylvester School teachers wore costumes and stood along the front sidewalk of the school to wave, cheer, and greet students and their families driving down Palmer Square.

Families were invited to dress up, decorate their cars, play music, and drive past the school to say hello to teachers.

During this parade, families received  a Halloween Goody Bag.
